Prospective candidates seeking admission into Bowen University can now apply as the institution has officially released its Post-UTME and Direct Entry admission forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the university, applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into various undergraduate programmes across its colleges.
To be eligible, UTME candidates must possess at least five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, in relevant subjects, in addition to meeting the required UTME cut-off mark. Direct Entry candidates are also expected to meet admission requirements for their chosen programmes.
The university disclosed that some programmes, particularly professional courses such as Law and Medicine and Surgery, may require additional screening tests or interviews as part of the admission process.
Available programmes cut across major colleges including Agriculture, Engineering and Science; Computing and Communication Studies; Environmental Sciences; Health Sciences; Law; Liberal Studies; and Management and Social Sciences.
Some of the programmes offered include Medicine and Surgery, Nursing Science, Law, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Accounting, Economics, Mass Communication, Architecture, Biochemistry and Software Engineering.
The Post-UTME/DE application fee is N7,350, and the application is open to candidates applying through UTME and Direct Entry.

The university advised that:
UTME applicants should apply using only their 2026 JAMB result
Direct Entry candidates must possess the 2026 DE form
Candidates with awaiting results may apply but must present complete O’Level results upon resumption
Interested applicants are to complete their registration through the university admission portal and follow all application guidelines carefully.
Admission activities for the 2026/2027 session are now underway, and prospective students are advised to begin their applications early.
