The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results of candidates who participated in the first day of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
This development marks the beginning of the result release process for this year’s examination, coming shortly after the successful conduct of the initial session.

According to information made available by JAMB through its spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, candidates who sat for the UTME on Thursday, April 16, 2026, can now check their results.
The Board had earlier assured candidates that results would be processed and released promptly, and this latest update confirms that commitment.

Candidates who wrote the exam on the first day can check their results using the official method approved by JAMB.

Send “UTMERESULT” as a text message to 55019 or 66019
Use the same phone number used during registration
After sending the message, your result will be delivered via SMS.
