UNILORIN OPENS INTER-UNIVERSITY TRANSFER APPLICATION FOR 2026/2027 SESSION, SETS DEADLINE

The University of Ilorin has announced the commencement of applications for Inter-University Transfer into the institution for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

According to information obtained by A-Media Update, interested candidates seeking transfer admission into UNILORIN from other universities and wish to continue their studies at UNILORIN can now apply through the institution's official portal.

Key Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must:

- Meet the University of Ilorin's admission requirements applicable to the year they gained admission into their current institution.

- Possess a minimum CGPA of 3.00, subject to the requirements of the intended course of study.

- Demonstrate good conduct and be able to spend at least two academic sessions in the University before graduation.

- Provide relevant academic documents, including O'Level and A'Level results (where applicable), JAMB result slip, O'Level result checker PIN, and a recommendation letter from their current institution.

- Pay the prescribed processing fee of ₦30,000.

Applicants are expected to upload:

- O'Level result(s)

- A'Level result(s), where applicable

- JAMB result slip

- O'Level result checker PIN

-Letter of recommendation from their current institution

In addition, academic transcripts must be forwarded directly to the Registrar, University of Ilorin. Applicants must also ensure they have a valid and active email address and phone number before commencing the registration process.

Applications are to be completed online through the University of Ilorin portal after payment of the prescribed ₦30,000 processing fee.

Application Deadline

The University has fixed Monday, August 31, 2026, as the deadline for submission of applications.

UNILORIN warned that candidates should carefully verify all information entered during registration, as any error or false information may lead to automatic disqualification.
