Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has officially commenced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Forms for the 2026/2027 academic session. The institution invites suitably qualified candidates who selected UNIOSUN as their first-choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and those willing to change to UNIOSUN as their first choice to apply for the screening exercise.
The university management has outlined the eligibility requirements, registration procedures, screening guidelines, and important deadlines for prospective applicants.
Eligibility Requirements
Candidates who scored a minimum of 160 in the 2026 UTME are eligible to apply for the screening exercise.
However, applicants seeking admission into the following highly competitive programmes must score at least 200 in the UTME:
Law
Islamic Law
Nursing
Medicine and Surgery
Candidates who selected any of the above programmes but scored below 200 are advised to change to other suitable programmes for which they meet the admission requirements.
Additionally, in line with the national admission policy, candidates who will not be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2026, are not eligible for admission and should not apply.
O’Level Requirements
Prospective candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics where applicable.
Candidates applying for most programmes may present their O’Level results in not more than two sittings.
However, candidates seeking admission into:
Medicine and Surgery
Nursing
Law
Islamic Law
must possess the required five credit passes in one sitting.
Direct Entry candidates may be considered with a minimum of Lower Credit in their previous qualifications where applicable.
Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry applicants are also required to participate in the screening exercise.
All Direct Entry candidates, including those from UNIOSUN’s IJMB and JUPEB programmes, must obtain the Direct Entry form from JAMB and apply through the university’s screening portal.
Furthermore, Direct Entry candidates are expected to forward their academic transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University on or before Friday, September 4, 2026.
How to Apply
Candidates are required to complete their registration online through the university admission portal.
Applicants should visit the admission portal, carefully read all instructions, complete the application form, and submit it online.
After successful submission, candidates should print two copies of the completed application form for record purposes.
Screening Fees
Applicants are required to pay:
₦3,000 as Portal Access Fee
₦2,000 as Post-UTME Screening Fee
Payment is to be made online through the Remita WebPAY platform using ATM cards such as:
MasterCard
Verve Card
Interswitch-enabled Cards
Important Admission Information
Candidates are advised to provide accurate and verifiable information during registration.
UNIOSUN has warned that any applicant who provides false information or submits forged documents will face prosecution, while any admission granted based on such false information will be withdrawn immediately upon discovery.
Fees paid by candidates who submit false information will not be refunded.
Candidates awaiting O’Level results may apply but must upload their results within one week of release.
Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.
