Fountain University has announced that its 19th Matriculation Ceremony for newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 Academic Session will take place on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the University Auditorium, beginning at 10:00 a.m. prompt.
Fresh students are required to observe the following guidelines:
All fresh students must be properly dressed in complete academic robes. Entry into the auditorium will be denied to any student without an academic gown.
Students are to gather at the Eti-Osa Lecture Theatre by 9:00 a.m., where they will be organized and led in a formal procession to the auditorium by their respective College Officers.
No student, including those in full academic regalia, will be permitted to enter the auditorium after the Vice-Chancellor’s procession has commenced.
Mobile phones must be switched to silent mode throughout the ceremony, as any form of distraction will not be allowed.
All fresh students are to sign and submit the Matriculation Oath immediately after the ceremony.
The University Management, under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayinka Ramota Karim, extends warm wishes to all fresh students for a rewarding and successful stay on campus.
